TORSO

TORSO is a dynamic shelving system designed specifically to be customised by you and to be adapted to the most challenging of storage and display situations. You are no longer stuck with unimaginative horizontal shelves or boxes stacked on one another.

TORSO consists of a vertical spine of Italian-crafted plywood from which you can suspend shelves from multiple slots: 12 different slots for a small TORSO (70cms high) and 22 slots for a large TORSO (120cms high).

TORSO shelves are available in 3 orientations: to the Left of the spine, to the Right of the spine or directly to the Front. Depending on how you orient the shelves, TORSO can vary from 40cms wide down to 20cms wide. Not only that, you can change the orientation of the TORSO unit by simply moving the shelves to diffferent slots on the spine.

TORSO includes a choice of Fiddle colours for your own style. The fiddles sit in locating slots on each shelf and are easily removed for dusting and cleaning.

Whether you want an adaptable solution for your kitchen or to create an elegant and unique display for your living room, TORSO gives you the freedom to be your own interior design guru.

We offer a Standard configuration for each TORSO size, but you are free to choose any number of shelves to suit your needs.

TORSO – 70cms high:
  • Number of shelves: 4
  • Orientation of shelves: 2 x Centre, 1 x Left, 1 x Right
  • Fiddle Colour: Clear
TORSO – 120cms:
  • Number of shelves: 6
  • Orientation of shelves: 2 x Centre, 2 x Left, 2 x Right
  • Fiddle Colour: Clear
Remember: At checkout, you can change the Number and Type of Shelves and choose a Fiddle colour highlight.

Installation

Attaching Torso to a Wall
  • The Torso must be securely fastened to the wall.
  • It is also important, as for any shelf, that the Torso is perfectly level.
  • If you are unsure how to properly affix the Torso to a wall, please consult your nearest qualified tradesperson.
Fitting Shelves to the Torso
  • Once the Torso is securely fastened to a wall surface, the shelves can be easily inserted into any of the slots by simply pushing them in.
  • The shelves can be easily removed and moved to another slot.
The TORSO fiddles
  • The Fiddles can be simply inserted into the grooves on each shelf once the shelf is pushed into the desired slot.
  • These Fiddles will prevent items from slipping off the shelf and can be easily removed for cleaning – or replacing with different colour fiddles.
  • The Fiddles may be glued to the shelves, but then you cannot easily change the colour of the fiddles. Glueing is not necessary.
